DIBCON26 Event Policies
Overview
These Event Policies apply to all attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, media representatives, and staff (“Participants”) at DIBCON26 (“Event”). Participation in the Event constitutes agreement to comply with these policies.
1. Registration & Credentials
All Participants must be properly registered.
Event badges must be worn and visible within event spaces.
Organizer reserves the right to verify registration status at any time.
2. Exhibitor & Sponsor Conduct
Exhibitors and sponsors must confine activities to their assigned space unless otherwise approved.
Aisles, exits, and common areas may not be obstructed.
Distribution of materials outside assigned space requires Organizer approval.
Activities must not disrupt sessions, meetings, or other exhibitors.
3. Use of Space & Safety
All Participants must comply with applicable laws, venue requirements, and Organizer instructions.
Hazardous materials, open flames, or unsafe equipment are prohibited.
Electrical or specialized equipment must meet venue requirements.
Organizer may halt any activity deemed unsafe, disruptive, or non-compliant.
4. Media & Recording
Members of the press, podcasters, and other media representatives must receive prior approval from Organizer to attend in a reporting capacity.
Recording of sessions, interviews, or exhibitor areas for publication or distribution requires Organizer approval and the consent of the individuals being recorded.
Participants may not represent themselves as official media of the Event without authorization.
Organizer reserves the right to restrict or revoke media access at its discretion.
5. Photography & Promotional Use
Photography and video recording may occur during the Event.
By attending, Participants acknowledge that Organizer may use photographs or recordings for promotional purposes.
Participants who wish to opt out must notify Organizer in writing prior to the Event.
6. Enforcement
Organizer reserves the right to remove any Participant who violates these policies. No refunds will be provided for removal due to policy violations.

Commitment to a Professional Environment
DIBCON26 (“Event”) is committed to maintaining a professional, respectful, and business-focused environment for all attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers, media representatives, and staff (“Participants”).
Expected Behavior
All Participants are expected to:
Conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner
Engage in good-faith business interactions
Comply with applicable laws and venue requirements
Follow instructions from Organizer staff
Maintain an environment suitable for professional discussion and networking
Prohibited Conduct
The following behaviors will not be tolerated:
Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, or threatening behavior
Disruptive conduct during sessions or exhibition hours
Excessive intoxication that interferes with the Event
Unauthorized recording of private meetings or conversations
Any conduct that creates an unsafe or hostile environment
Reporting Concerns
Participants may report concerns to Organizer staff at any time during the Event.
Enforcement
Organizer reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to:
Issue warnings
Remove individuals from the Event without refund
Restrict future participation
